Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 3 c
- water - 1 c
- orange juice - 1/3 c
- orange rind - 1 tsp
- pecans, sliced - 1 lb
How to make sugared pecans:
Mix sugar, water and juice; boil to soft ball stage or 240° on a candy thermometer. Remove from burner; add orange rind and pecans and stir until syrup looks cloudy. Pour onto heavy wax paper as mixture cools. Break apart.Recipe categories: Lunch/snacks, Snacks, Appetizers.
