  • sugar - 1 c
  • vanilla - 1/2 tsp
  • salt - 1/2 tsp
  • flour - 2 c
  • soda - 1/2 tsp
  • buttermilk - 1/2 c
  • egg - 1 item
  • margarine - 1/2 c

How to make sugar cookies:

Cream together margarine and sugar. Beat in egg. Sift together dry ingredients. Stir in milk and vanilla. Combine all ingredients together and mix well. Drop by teaspoonfuls about 2 inches apart onto greased cookie sheet. Sprinkle with sugar and cinnamon. Bake 12 to 15 minutes in a 350° oven.
