Blackberry cobbler
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 3/4 c
- milk - 1 Tbsp
- salt - 1/8 tsp
- cornstarch - 1 Tbsp
- fresh blackberries - 5 c
- 9-inch pie pastry - 1 item
How to make blackberry cobbler:
Place berries in a 9-inch square baking dish. Combine 3/4 cup of sugar, salt and cornstarch. Sprinkle over berries. Dot with butter. Roll pastry to fit pan and place on top of berries. Trim and seal edges. Brush with milk and sprinkle with 1 tablespoon of sugar. Make slits in top. Bake at 425° for 30 minutes.
