Ingredients/Components
- eggs - 2 item
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- granulated sugar - 1 c
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- flour
- soda - 1 tsp
- vegetable oil - 1 c
- powdered sugar - 1 c
- cream of tartar - 1 tsp
- oleo or butter - 1 c
How to make sugar cookies:
In a large bowl, mix 2 sugars, butter, eggs and oil and beat until well blended. Add soda, cream of tartar, salt and vanilla. Gradually add flour until well blended. Cover and chill for 1 hour. Make 1-inch balls. Roll balls in granulated sugar. Place on cookie sheet 2 inches apart. Bake at 375° for 10 to 12 minutes.
