- eggs - 2 item
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- granulated sugar - 1 c
- butter or margarine - 1 c
- salt - 1 tsp
- flour - 4 c
- soda - 1 tsp
- vegetable oil - 1 c
- powdered sugar - 1 c
- cream of tartar - 1 tsp
How to make sugar cookies:
Preheat oven to 375°. Cream butter, oil and both sugars together. Add vanilla and eggs. Sift dry ingredients. Stir in and blend. Roll a teaspoon of soft dough into a ball, then roll in granulated sugar. Press down on a lightly greased cookie sheet with a glass dipped in sugar. Bake at 375° for 12 minutes.
