- medium tomatoes - 8 item
- bread crumbs - 3/4 c
- parsley - 3 tbsp
- olive oil - 1 item
- medium onion, finely chopped - 1 item
- chives
- grated hard cheese cheddar - 3/4 c
How to make stuffed tomatoes:
Cut tops off tomatoes. With a teaspoon, carefully hollow out the tomatoes. Add the olive oil to a frying pan; fry onion, breadcrumbs, parsley and chives. Add cheese near the end to melt. With a teaspoon, place stuffing in the hollowed-out tomatoes. Bake for 10 minutes at 400 degrees.Recipe categories: Lunch/snacks, Appetizers, Side dish.
