Stuffed sole
Ingredients/Components
- flour - 1 Tbsp
- butter - 2 Tbsp
- lemon juice
- salt and pepper - 1 item
- chopped green onion - 2 Tbsp
- white wine - 1/4 c
- shrimp - 1/4 lb
- clove minced garlic - 1 item
- mushrooms, quartered - 6 item
- sole fillets - 2 lb
How to make stuffed sole:
Lay sole flat; scatter shrimp evenly over each fillet. Roll and secure with toothpicks. Place fillets on a greased shallow baking dish and season with salt and pepper. Stir together lemon juice, wine, onion and garlic. Pour over fillets. Bake 25 minutes at 350°.When sole is almost done, melt butter in saucepan and stir in flour. Transfer cooked sole to a serving plate and keep warm. Gradually pour liquid from baking dish into flour mixture. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until smooth and thickened. Pour over sole and serve.
