Chinese barbecued pork
Ingredients/Components
- cinnamon - 1/2 tsp
- brown sugar - 1 Tbsp
- red food coloring - 2 tsp
- honey - 1 Tbsp
- soy sauce - 1/4 c
- dry red wine - 2 Tbsp
- each - 2 whole
- clove garlic, crushed - 1 item
How to make chinese barbecued pork:
Remove and discard fat from meat. Combine soy sauce, wine, sugar, honey, food coloring, cinnamon and garlic in a large bowl. Add pork, turning tenderloins to coat completely. Cover and let stand at room temperature for 1 hour or refrigerate overnight, turning occasionally.Drain pork, reserving marinade. Place pork on a wire rack over a baking pan. Bake in a 350° oven about 45 minutes until done. Turn and baste frequently during baking. Serve with hot mustard.
