Ingredients/Components

  • box jumbo shells - 1 item
  • large container small curd cottage cheese - 1 item
  • Mozzarella cheese, grated - 2 c
  • grated Parmesan cheese - 3/4 c
  • eggs - 3 item
  • fresh parsley, chopped - 1 Tbsp
  • oregano - 3/4 tsp
  • salt - 1/2 tsp
  • dash of pepper - 1 item
  • jar spaghetti sauce - 32 oz

How to make stuffed shells:

Cook shells according to package directions, drain. (Keep separated in cool water.) Combine cheeses, eggs, parsley oregano, salt and pepper. Fill each shell with 1 1/2 tablespoons cheese mixture. Spread thin layer of sauce on bottom of 9 x 13-inch pan. Place shells in pan, cheese side up. Cover with remaining sauce. Sprinkle with additional Parmesan cheese, if desired. Cover with foil. Bake at 350° for about 35 minutes, or until hot and bubbly. Fills about 36 shells; yields 10 to 12 servings.
