Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- beaten egg - 1 item
- pepper - 1/8 tsp
- grated Parmesan cheese - 2 Tbsp
- grated Mozzarella cheese - 1/2 c
- cooked spaghetti sauce - 1 item
- creamy Ricotta cheese - 15 16
- large box stuffing shells - 1 item
- additional grated Mozzarella cheese - 1 item
How to make stuffed shells:
Mix Ricotta cheese, 1/2 cup grated Mozzarella cheese, grated Parmesan cheese, salt, pepper and egg together. Cook stuffing shells according to directions; drain well.Line a pan (9 x 13-inch) with a thin layer of spaghetti sauce. Fill shells with cheese filling (about 1/2 or 3/4 teaspoon per shell). Place in pan with open side down. Top with more sauce and extra grated Mozzarella cheese. Bake in 350° oven for 20 to 25 minutes or until heated through.
