Stuffed mushrooms
Ingredients/Components
- salt - 3/4 tsp
- butter - 1/2 c
- cloves garlic, minced - 2 item
- Parmesan cheese - 1/4 c
- oregano - 1/4 tsp
- minced onion - 1/2 c
- chopped parsley - 2 Tbsp
- large mushrooms - 1/2 lb
- seasoned bread crumbs - 1/2 c
How to make stuffed mushrooms:
Thirty minutes before serving, preheat broiler. Remove mushroom stems and finely chop. Reserve mushroom caps. In 2-quart saucepan, over medium heat, melt butter. Cook mushroom stems, onions and next 4 ingredients until onion is tender (about 5 minutes), stirring occasionally. Stir in bread crumbs and cheese.Spoon mixture into mushroom caps. Place caps, stuffed side up, on tray in broiler. Broil 8 minutes or until mushrooms are tender.
