Ingredients/Components
- lemon juice - 1/4 c
- olive oil - 1/4 c
- or more garlic cloves - 2 item
- large can chickpeas, drained reserve juice - 1 item
- reserved liquid from chickpeas - 1/4 c
How to make hummus:
Blend all of the ingredients in a blender to desired consistency. Mixture should be a paste, but neither dry nor soupy. If necessary, add more liquid.Serve on pita or with crackers as a spread, or with fresh vegetables as a dip.
