Stuffed mushroom caps
Ingredients/Components
- chopped pecans - 1/2 c
- butter or margarine - 2 Tbsp
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- lemon juice - 1 tsp
- chopped onion - 2 Tbsp
- fine bread crumbs - 1/2 c
- large mushrooms - 12 item
How to make stuffed mushroom caps:
Wash mushrooms gently in cool water or wipe with a damp cloth. Remove stems, and chop. Saute onion in butter. Add chopped stems, pecans, bread crumbs, lemon juice and salt; mix well.Mound mushroom caps with stuffing. Broil 4 minutes, about 4 inches from heat unit. Or cook in microwave oven on High for 2 to 3 minutes.
