Ingredients/Components
- packed brown sugar - 1/2 Tbsp
- water - 1/4 c
- egg - 1 item
- Parmesan cheese - 1 item
- shredded Mozzarella cheese - 3 c
- parsley - 1 tsp
- tomato paste - 6 oz
- Ricotta cheese - 15 oz
- pork sausage - 1 lb
- Italian tomato sauce - 30 oz
- manicotti noodles, cooked, rinsed and drained - 12 item
How to make stuffed manicotti:
In a large saucepan, brown sausage and drain. Remove half and set aside. Stir tomato sauce, paste, water and brown sugar into sausage in saucepan. Simmer 15 minutes. Meanwhile, in medium bowl, combine remaining sausage, Ricotta, 2 cups Mozzarella, egRecipe categories: Pasta, Main dish, Manicotti.
