Stuffed manicotti
Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- grated Parmesan cheese - 1 item
- mayonnaise - 1/2 c
- cottage cheese - 1 c
- oregano - 1/2 tsp
- shredded Mozzarella cheese - 4 oz
- lean ground beef - 1/2 lb
- jar spaghetti sauce - 1 oz
- clove garlic, chopped - 1 item
- manicotti noodles - 9 item
How to make stuffed manicotti:
Cook manicotti about 10 minutes and drain. Brown ground beef and garlic; drain. Add cottage cheese, Mozzarella, salt and mayonnaise. Mix well. Stuff each manicotti with 1/4 cup of meat-cheese mixture. Place in a single layer in a 9 x 13-inch pan. Sprinkle any remaining filling over manicotti. Cover with spaghetti sauce. Sprinkle evenly with oregano and generously with Parmesan cheese. Cover with foil and bake at 350° about 15 minutes.
