Stuffed green bell peppers
Ingredients/Components
- evaporated milk - 1/4 c
- egg - 1 item
- chopped onion - 1/4 c
- catsup - 2 Tbsp
- ground beef - 1 lb
- barbecue sauce - 1/2 c
- cooked rice - 1 c
- small can tomato sauce - 1 item
- large bell peppers - 6 item
- salt and dash of pepper
- chopped bell pepper, use cut-off tops - 1/4 c
How to make stuffed green bell peppers:
Blanche peppers 5 minutes in boiling water. Mix together remaining ingredients except tomato sauce and stuff peppers with mixture. Place in covered casserole and pour tomato sauce over them. Bake 1 hour at 350°.Recipe categories: Lunch/snacks, Main dish, One Dish meal.
