Stuffed bread
Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1 tsp
- oil - 2 Tbsp
- Worcestershire sauce - 1/4 tsp
- ground beef - 1 lb
- diced celery - 1/2 c
- green pepper, diced - 1 item
- mushrooms optional - 1 item
- slices Cheddar cheese - 2 item
- round loaf white bread unsliced - 1 lb
How to make stuffed bread:
Cut off top of bread and hollow out, forming crust shell. Tear bread into small pieces to make 2 cups. Brown beef in oil; mix in remaining ingredients except cheese slices and bread pieces. Simmer 4 to 5 minutes and stir in bread pieces. Fill crust with mixture. Cut cheese slices in half diagonally and place on top. Bake at 350° for 5 to 8 minutes or until cheese melts.
