Ingredients/Components
- onion - 1 item
- chopped bell pepper - 1 item
- Provolone cheese - 1/2 lb
- Mozzarella - 1/2 lb
- any kind sausage - 1/2 lb
- any kind of meat ham, chicken, etc - 1/2 lb
How to make stromboli:
Saute sausage, onion and bell pepper. Drain well. Spread thawed dough into large rectangle. Layer ingredients into a large pile on top of bread. Pull sides and seal. (It will be large and bulky.) Roll into an oiled pan or cookie sheet seam side down. Bake at 350° for 30 minutes.You may be creative and add black olives, Italian sausage, etc. This can be made ahead and is good sliced and warmed in microwave.
