Ingredients/Components

  • sugar - 1/3 c
  • milk - 2 Tbsp
  • cold water
  • boiling water - 2 c
  • cream cheese, softened - 1/2 oz
  • margarine or butter, melted - 2/3 c
  • strawberry gelatin - 1 pkg
  • thawed Cool Whip - 1 c
  • strawberries, sliced - 2 pt
  • finely crushed pretzels - 2 c

How to make strawberry pretzel squares:

Heat oven to 350°. Mix crushed pretzels, 1/3 cup sugar and margarine. Press firmly into bottom of 9 x 13-inch baking pan. Bake for 10 minutes. Cool.

Beat cream cheese, 1/4 cup sugar and milk until smooth. Stir in Cool Whip. Spread over crust. Refrigerate.

Stir boiling water into gelatin in large bowl for 2 minutes. Stir in cold water; refrigerate 1 1/2 hours. Stir in strawberries.
