Strawberry pretzel squares
Ingredients/Components
- finely crushed pretzels - 2 c
- sugar - 1/3 c
- margarine, melted - 2/3 c
- cream cheese, softened - 12 oz
- milk - 2 Tbsp
- thawed Cool Whip - 1 c
- boiling water - 2 c
- size pkg - 1 oz
- cold water
- strawberries, sliced - 2 pt
How to make strawberry pretzel squares:
Heat oven to 350°. Mix crushed pretzels, 1/3 cup sugar and margarine. Press firmly into bottom of a 13 x 9-inch baking dish. Bake 10 minutes. Cool. Beat cream cheese, 1/4 cup sugar and milk until smooth. Stir in Cool Whip. Spread over crust. Refrigerate. Stir boiling water into gelatin in large bowl 2 minutes or until completely dissolved. Stir in cold water. Refrigerate 1 1/2 hours. Stir in berries. Spoon over cream cheese layer. Refrigerate 3 hours. Cut into squares.
