  • crushed pretzels - 2 c
  • 1/2 sticks margarine, melted - 1 item
  • Spread into 9 x 13-inch dish
  • carton Cool Whip - 1 oz
  • sugar - 1/2 c
  • Spread over cooled pretzels
  • pkg - 2 oz
  • boiling water - 2 c

How to make strawberry pretzel salad:

Crush pretzels to nut size. Spread into 9 x 13-inch dish. Pour melted butter over. Bake 10 minutes at 350°. Cool.Second Layer:1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese1 (12 oz.) carton Cool Whip1/2 c. sugar Blend cream cheese, Cool Whip and sugar. Spread over cooled pretzels.Third Layer:2 (10 oz.) pkg. strawberries2 (3 oz.) pkg. strawberry jello2 c. boiling water Dissolve jello in boiling water. Add thawed strawberries. Mix and congeal slightly and cut into squares. Add a dot of Cool Whip on top of each square, if desired.
