Strawberry pretzel salad
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 3 tsp
- boiling water - 2 c
- margarine - 3/4 c
- cream cheese, softened - 8 oz
- frozen strawberries - 20 oz
- strawberry gelatin - 6 oz
- whipped topping, thawed - 9 oz
- crushed pretzels - 2 c
How to make strawberry pretzel salad:
Preheat oven to 400°. Spray a 13 x 9 pan with nonstick spray. Mix first 3 ingredients together and press into pan. Bake 8 minutes, then cool. Mix next 3 ingredients. Spread on crust. Chill for 15 to 20 minutes. Dissolve gelatin. Stir in frozen strawberries. Thicken in refrigerator about 40 minutes so mixture is not runny, but spreadable. Spoon onto creamy layer.
