Pretzel salad
Ingredients/Components
- crushed pretzels - 2 c
- sugar - 1 Tbsp
- cream cheese, softened - 8 oz
- crushed pineapple - 1/2 c
- large strawberry Jell-O - 1 item
- 1/2 sticks butter, melted - 1 item
- Cool Whip - 12 oz
- frozen strawberries - 2 pkg
- boiling water - 2 c
How to make pretzel salad:
1st Layer: Add melted butter to pretzels and sugar; mix well and bake for 6 minutes. Let cool while preparing 2nd layer.2nd Layer: Mix well Cool Whip, cream cheese, 1 cup sugar and pineapple. Add this mixture to completely cooled 1st layer. Spread evenly.
3rd Layer: Dissolve Jell-O in water. Add frozen strawberries and Jell-O mixture. Put in refrigerator long enough to half congeal (15 to 20 minutes), depending on how frozen your strawberries are. Stir and pour on top. Refrigerate overnight.
