Fresh apple cake
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 c
- eggs - 3 item
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- milk - 1/4 c
- brown sugar - 1 c
- coconut - 1 c
- soda - 1 tsp
- nuts - 1/2 c
- plain flour - 3 c
- black walnut flavoring - 1 tsp
- canola oil
- chopped peeled apples - 3 c
- Add eggs, flour, soda, salt and flavorings
How to make fresh apple cake:
Cream sugar and oil. Add eggs, flour, soda, salt and flavorings. In separate bowl, mix nuts, coconut and apples. Fold into creamed mixture. Bake in greased and floured pan at 300° for 1 1/2 hours.Frosting:1 stick margarine1/4 c. milk1 c. brown sugar Mix together and heat over medium heat. Cook 3 minutes and pour over cake in pan.
