Strawberry pie

Ingredients/Components

• sugar - 1 c
• pkg - 1 oz
• milk - 2 Tbsp
• salt - 1/8 tsp
• cornstarch - 1/4 c
• water - 1/2 c
• red food coloring - 1/4 tsp
• strawberries - 1 qt
• 9-inch pie crust

How to make strawberry pie:

Wash and stem strawberries. Soften cheese with milk. Spread on the bottom of pie shell. Place 1/2 of the best berries in the pie shell. Heat remaining berries in water. When softened, add to mixture of sugar, cornstarch and salt. Return to heat; cook until thick. Add food coloring. Pour over berries in pie shell. Top with whipped cream.
