Strawberry freezer jam
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 4 c
- water - 3/4 c
- crushed strawberries - 2 c
- Sure-Jell powdered pectin - 1 pkg
How to make strawberry freezer jam:
Add sugar to berries and mix well. Combine in a saucepan water and Sure-Jell. Bring to a boil and stir constantly for 1 minute. Pour into berry mixture and stir constantly for 3 minutes. Quickly ladle into sterilized containers. Cover at once with tight lids. Keep jars at room temperature for 24 hours. Store in freezer.
