Ingredients/Components
- pkg - 1 oz
- boiling water - 1 c
- Dream Whip - 2 pkg
- frozen strawberries - 1 pkg
- strawberry juice - 2/3 c
- angel food cake - 1 item
How to make strawberry angel food cake:
Cut off top of cake about 1/2 to 1-inch deep. Scoop out center and tear into pieces. Dissolve Jell-O and add juice from berries. Chill until thick, but not set. Fold in strawberries, angel cake and 1 cup whipped cream. Gently place in scooped out cake. Frost with whipped cream. Chill at least 3 hours.Substitutions: Lemon Jell-O and pineapple; peach Jell-O and peaches or chocolate and nuts.
