Ingredients/Components
- butter or margarine - 1 item
- salt and pepper to taste - 1 item
- can cream of chicken soup, undiluted - 1 item
- large carrot, grated - 1 item
- yellow squash fresh, frozen or canned - 2 c
- sour cream small carton - 1 c
- Pepperidge Farm herb seasoned crumbs - 1 item
How to make squash supreme:
Mash squash (add onion, if desired). Add soup, sour cream, carrot, salt and pepper. Butter casserole. Sprinkle layer of crumbs in bottom. Add squash mixture. Cover with crumbs and generous dots of butter on top. Bake at 350° for 30 minutes.Recipe categories: Eggs/dairy, Squash, Side dish.
