Ingredients/Components
- milk - 2 Tbsp
- flour - 1/2 c
- oil - 1 item
- baking powder - 1 tsp
- egg, beaten - 1 item
- salt and pepper - 1 item
- onion, minced - 1 Tbsp
- medium summer squash, mashed - 2 item
How to make squash fritters:
Mix squash, egg, onion, milk, flour, salt, pepper and baking powder into batter. Drop batter by the spoonful into hot oil and fry 3 to 5 minutes until golden brown. Turn each fritter once. Remove to paper towel. Yield: 6 servings.Recipe categories: Eggs/dairy, Squash, Side dish.
