Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 Tbsp
- flour - 6 Tbsp
- egg - 1 item
- salt and pepper to taste - 1 item
- minced onion - 2 Tbsp
- oil for frying - 1 item
- grated squash - 3 c
How to make squash fritters:
Salt squash; let drain in colander. Squeeze moisture from squash. Combine all ingredients except oil in a large bowl. Mix well. Fry a small amount at a time in deep fat until brown on both sides. Serve hot.Recipe categories: Eggs/dairy, Squash, Side dish.
