Squash dressing
Ingredients/Components
- pkg - 1 oz
- milk - 2 c
- water - 1/4 c
- margarine - 2 Tbsp
- chopped onion - 1/2 c
- chopped celery - 1/2 c
- can cream of chicken soup - 1 oz
- black pepper - 1 tsp
- poultry seasoning - 2 tsp
- yellow squash - 2 lb
How to make squash dressing:
Preheat oven to 350°. Cook squash in water in covered saucepan until tender. Drain and mash. Crumble cornbread into milk. Set aside. Saute celery and onion in margarine until tender. Add pepper, soup, poultry seasoning and squash. Stir in cornbread mixture. Pour ingredients into a 2-quart casserole.
