Squash dressing
Ingredients/Components
- chopped onions - 1/2 c
- chopped green pepper - 1/2 c
- chopped celery - 1/2 c
- melted margarine - 1/2 c
- crumbled cornbread - 5 c
- milk - 2 c
- can cream of chicken soup - 1 oz
- yellow squash, cooked and drained - 3 c
- salt, pepper and sage to taste - 1 item
How to make squash dressing:
Saute onion, pepper and celery in margarine until tender. Add to cornbread and stir well. Stir in remaining ingredients; mix well. Pour into 13 x 9 x 2-inch greased baking dish. Bake at 400° for 50 minutes or until brown.Recipe categories: < 60 mins, Time to make, Side dish.
