Spinach wontons
Ingredients/Components
- pkg - 10 oz
- salt - 1/8 tsp
- butter - 2 Tbsp
- nutmeg - 1/8 tsp
- vegetable oil - 1 item
- grated Parmesan cheese - 2 Tbsp
- shredded Cheddar cheese - 1/4 c
- finely chopped onion - 2 Tbsp
- wonton skins, thawed
How to make spinach wontons:
Cook spinach, drain well and press dry. Melt butter in skillet and add onion and saute until tender. Stir in next 5 ingredients. Place one teaspoon spinach mixture in center of each wonton. Lightly brush edges with water. Fold over and press edges together. When all are filled, place several at a time in hot oil and fry 30 seconds on each side or until golden brown.
