Ingredients/Components

  • bunches fresh spinach, chopped for salad - 2 item
  • strawberries, drained and sliced - 1 pt
  • red onion, cut into rings - 1 item
  • Dressing:1/2 c
  • dry mustard - 1 Tbsp
  • salt - 1 tsp
  • celery seeds - 1/2 tsp
  • vegetable oil - 1 c
  • red wine vinegar - 1/3 c

How to make spinach salad:

Mix the spinach, strawberries and onions together well.Dressing:1/2 c. sugar1 Tbsp. dry mustard1 tsp. salt1/2 tsp. celery seeds1 c. vegetable oil1/3 c. red wine vinegar Blend dry ingredients together, then wet. Mix together. Pour dressing over salad just before serving.
