Spinach quiche
Ingredients/Components
- half and half - 1 c
- eggs, beaten - 3 item
- chopped ham - 1 c
- cottage cheese - 16 oz
- frozen chopped spinach - 2 pkg
- pie shells - 2 item
- chopped mushrooms, onions and bell peppers - 1 item
How to make spinach quiche:
Prepare spinach as directed on package. (You can use fresh spinach, if desired, steam until tender first.) Mix all ingredients in a large bowl and salt lightly. Pour into pie shells and bake at 350° for 45 to 60 minutes. Serves well with green salad, fresh fruit, hard bread and white wine.
