Ingredients/Components

  • butter or margarine - 4 Tbsp
  • flour - 2 Tbsp
  • garlic salt - 3/4 tsp
  • chopped onion - 2 Tbsp
  • canned milk - 1/2 c
  • celery salt - 3/4 tsp
  • frozen, chopped spinach - 2 pkg
  • Bread crumbs - 1 item
  • spinach juice - 1/2 c
  • roll Jalapeno cheese, chopped - 6 oz
  • Worcestershir sauce - 1 tsp

How to make spinach madeline:

Cook spinach; drain and save the juice. Melt butter and make a white sauce. Add onion and liquid, stirring constantly. Cook until smooth and thick. Add seasoning and chopped cheese. Pour cooked spinach into the sauce. Put into a casserole dish and top with bread crumbs. Bake for 15 minutes at 350°.
