Spinach lasagna
Ingredients/Components
- Ricotta or small curd cottage cheese - 1 lb
- Mozzarella cheese, shredded reserve 1/2 c
- chopped spinach, thawed and drained - 1 pkg
- egg - 1 item
- salt - 1 tsp
- oregano - 3/4 tsp
- black pepper - 1/8 tsp
- jars spaghetti sauce - 2 1/2
- lasagna noodles - 1/2 lb
- water - 1 c
How to make spinach lasagna:
Mix cheese, spinach, egg and seasonings. Grease a 13 x 9 pan. Layer 1/2 cup of sauce, 1/3 of noodles and half of cheese mixture. Repeat. Top with remaining sauce. Sprinkle with 1/2 cup Mozzarella cheese. Pour water around edge. Cover tightly. Bake for 1 hour and 15 minutes at 350°. Let stand 15 minutes before serving.
