Spinach dip
Ingredients/Components
- pkg - 1 oz
- sour cream - 1 c
- dry vegetable soup mix - 1 pkg
- mayonnaise - 1 c
- water chestnuts, drained and chopped if desired - 1 c
How to make spinach dip:
Place spinach on paper towel and press between sheets or squeeze to absorb as much of the moisture as possible. Combine spinach with remaining ingredients and mix well. Cover and chill mixture several hours. Serve with assorted raw vegetables.It can also be used in a pumpernickel bread bowl. Tear out the center of a round pumpernickel and place the dip in the center, using the pieces of bread for dipping.
