Ingredients/Components

  • sugar - 1/2 c
  • cinnamon - 1 tsp
  • salt - 1/2 tsp
  • water - 1 Tbsp
  • nutmeg - 1/2 tsp
  • pecan halves - 3 c
  • cloves - 1/2 tsp
  • egg white, slightly beaten - 1 item

How to make spiced pecans:

Beat egg whites and water. Stir in pecans to coat. Mix all other ingredients and sprinkle over pecans, mixing well. Spread pecans on lightly greased cookie sheet. Bake in 300° oven for 30 minutes. Stir twice during baking time to crisp and dry pecans.
