Ingredients/Components

  • sugar
  • cinnamon - 3/4 tsp
  • salt - 1/8 tsp
  • water - 1/3 c
  • nutmeg - 3/4 tsp
  • pecan halves - 1 lb

How to make spiced pecans:

Mix all ingredients, except pecan halves, in a saucepan. Bring to a boil. Boil until mixture forms a soft ball in cold water. Stir in pecans quickly. Continue to stir until pecans separate. Spread on wax paper. Break apart while cooling. Store in a tight container.
