Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1/2 c
- cinnamon - 1/2 tsp
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- cold water - 1 Tbsp
- pecan halves - 1 lb
- allspice - 1/4 tsp
- egg white - 1 item
- chili powder - 1/4 tsp
How to make spiced pecans:
Mix egg and water. Beat until frothy. Add the nuts. Mix sugar, salt, cinnamon, allspice and chili powder. Add to the nuts and mix well. Spread on buttered cookie sheet. Bake at 250° for 1 hour. Cool and store in airtight container.Delicious as very special snack or as a garnish for salads.
