Spaghetti casserole
Ingredients/Components
- Velveeta cheese - 1 item
- ground beef - 1 lb
- large onion, diced - 1 item
- green pepper, diced - 1 item
- jar spaghetti sauce - 1 item
- vermicelli spaghetti
How to make spaghetti casserole:
Brown ground beef and drain. Saute onions and bell peppers. Combine ground beef with onions and peppers in large pan and mix. Add spaghetti sauce and mix well. Simmer on low for 30 minutes, stirring frequently. Cook vermicelli according to package directions and drain. Mix vermicelli with spaghetti sauce and pour into large casserole dish. Top with slices of Velveeta cheese. Bake in oven at 300° for approximately 25 minutes or until cheese melts.Recipe categories: Lunch/snacks, Main dish, Casseroles.
