  • salt
  • water - 1 c
  • pepper - 1/2 tsp
  • clove garlic, minced - 1 item
  • chopped onion - 3/4 c
  • bay leaf - 1 item
  • oregano
  • olive oil - 3 Tbsp
  • cans tomato paste - 2 oz
  • cans tomatoes 4 c - 2 lb
  • Italian Meat Balls - 1 item

How to make spaghetti and meat balls:

Cook onion and garlic in hot oil until tender but not brown. Stir in the next 8 ingredients. Simmer, uncovered, for 30 minutes. Remove bay leaf. Add Italian Meat Balls; continue cooking about 30 minutes longer. Serve over hot spaghetti. Makes 6 servin
