Spaghetti and meat balls
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 Tbsp
- salt
- water - 1 c
- pepper - 1/2 tsp
- clove garlic, minced - 1 item
- chopped onion - 3/4 c
- bay leaf - 1 item
- oregano
- olive oil - 3 Tbsp
- cans tomato paste - 2 oz
- cans tomatoes 4 c - 2 lb
- Italian Meat Balls - 1 item
How to make spaghetti and meat balls:
Cook onion and garlic in hot oil until tender but not brown. Stir in the next 8 ingredients. Simmer, uncovered, for 30 minutes. Remove bay leaf. Add Italian Meat Balls; continue cooking about 30 minutes longer. Serve over hot spaghetti. Makes 6 servinRecipe categories: Pasta, Main dish, Pasta, rice and grains.
