- sugar - 1 c
- eggs - 3 item
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- butter - 2 Tbsp
- heavy cream - 3/4 c
- dark corn syrup - 1/2 c
- pecans
- 9-inch pie shell
How to make southern pecan pie:
Preheat oven to 375°. Beat eggs and gradually mix in sugar, butter and salt. Whip the cream gently 1 minute and stir into egg mixture with corn syrup. Add vanilla and 1 1/4 cups pecans. Spoon into pie shell and bake 40 to 50 minutes.Recipe categories: Desserts, Pie, Pies and tarts.
