Southern pecan pie
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 3/4 c
- vanilla extract - 1 Tbsp
- margarine
- light corn syrup - 3/4 c
- 9-inch pie shell
- pecans, chopped - 1 c
- large eggs, lightly beaten - 3 item
How to make southern pecan pie:
Combine margarine, sugar and syrup in medium saucepan. Cook over low heat, stirring constantly, until sugar dissolves. Cool slightly. Add eggs and vanilla, stirring well. Pour into unbaked pie shell.
