Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1/3 c
- flour - 5 c
- soda - 1/4 tsp
- buttermilk - 2 c
- baking powder - 4 Tbsp
- yeast cake, dissolved in 3/4 c - 1 pkg
- melted Crisco or cooking oil - 1/2 c
How to make sourdough biscuits:
Mix sugar and oil together. Add milk, yeast mixture and all of the dry ingredients. Store in refrigerator and make out as needed.Recipe categories: Breads, Southwestern u.s., Rolls/biscuits.
