Ingredients/Components

  • sugar - 1/3 c
  • flour - 5 c
  • soda - 1/4 tsp
  • buttermilk - 2 c
  • baking powder - 4 Tbsp
  • yeast cake, dissolved in 3/4 c - 1 pkg
  • melted Crisco or cooking oil - 1/2 c

How to make sourdough biscuits:

Mix sugar and oil together. Add milk, yeast mixture and all of the dry ingredients. Store in refrigerator and make out as needed.
