Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1/2 c
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- flour - 7 c
- water - 1 c
- soda - 1/2 tsp
- buttermilk - 2 c
- baking powder - 3 Tbsp
- Crisco - 3/4 c
- dry yeast - 1 1
How to make sourdough biscuits:
Mix ingredients, blend well and cover tightly to store in refrigerator. Roll out required amount needed. Cut and bake at 450° for 12 minutes. It is not necessary to let rise. Dough will keep in refrigerator for 2 weeks.Recipe categories: Breads, Southwestern u.s., Rolls/biscuits.
