Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1/4 c
- salt - 1 tsp
- flour - 5 c
- water - 2 Tbsp
- soda - 1 tsp
- buttermilk - 2 c
- baking powder - 3 tsp
- Crisco - 1 c
- dry yeast - 1 pkg
How to make angel biscuits:
Sift dry ingredients together. Cut in shortening. Combine yeast and buttermilk. Add to flour mixture. Shape into rolls or biscuits. Bake at 400° for about 12 to 15 minutes. Will keep in refrigerator for several days.Recipe categories: Breads, Rolls/biscuits, Yeast breads.
