Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1/4 c
- salt - 1 tsp
- flour - 5 c
- soda - 1 tsp
- buttermilk - 2 c
- baking powder - 3 tsp
- Crisco - 3/4 c
- warm water - 2 Tbsp
- dry yeast - 1 pkg
How to make angel biscuits:
Put yeast in warm water. Mix all ingredients. Put in refrigerator and let stand overnight. Roll out. Cut with biscuit cutter. Let rise. Bake at 400°.Recipe categories: Breads, Rolls/biscuits, Yeast breads.
