Ingredients/Components
- eggs, separated - 3 item
- milk - 3/4 c
- melted butter - 1/2 c
- sour cream - 3/4 c
- flour
- baking powder - 2 tsp
- baking soda - 1/2 tsp
- sugar - 1 Tbsp
How to make sour cream waffles:
Separate the whites and yolks of 3 eggs into 2 bowls. Beat yolks until light. Add 3/4 cup milk, 1/2 cup melted butter and 3/4 cup sour cream. Beat until smooth. In another bowl, combine and sift together 1 1/2 cups flour, 2 teaspoons baking powder, 1/2 teaspoon baking soda and 1 tablespoon sugar. Add to egg yolk mixture and blend well. Beat egg whites until stiff and carefully fold into the butter with a spatula.
